wmctrl
(#)
"The wmctrl program is a command line tool to interact with an EWMH/NetWM
compatible X Window Manager." It lets you enumerate, interrogate, maximize,
minimize, activate, move, resize, close windows, make windows sticky,
and manage desktops from the command line. This lets you directly implement
a variety of commands that would otherwise require window manager support, reducing window manager lock-in.
